If someone wanted to farm future clones they would need many things. They would need to also consider the time commitment for the future and weigh the costs for those 16-years of conditioning. A military of a country might decide to do this, as it would make their elite forces almost uncanny in cooperative ability and effectiveness. The sixteen-year investment is of course the real issue, it therefore becomes all about ROI and economics. The economics of cloning and human life, which most Americans have a problem with in discussing, I suppose you may too as I too have to question the dialogue. We must realize that such discussion is necessary even if somewhat unpleasant.

Wouldn’t it be nice to have a clone offspring? Well if your answer is no, you are not being truthful with yourself and will have to re-evaluate this answer before further reading here. If you say yes, which makes sense because after self-preservation, procreation is in fact the biggest single driver of the species and thankfully so otherwise you may not be here today if anyone of your ancestors had felt any differently. So we know that we have the technology to clone now and that mankind has an innate desire to reproduce and due to the ego of the human mind “Self” we know that it will therefore eventually come to pass as an acceptable method for reproducing human beings, this along with the test tube scenarios means no more regular births in the future. This is somewhat unfortunate for those of us who like sex, because use of such reproductive organs will not be needed. Women will appreciate the forgoing of the perils of nine months as it has been said in history by ruling women that it is better to die three times in battle than to give birth to one child. Ouch. Perhaps mankind will continue to practice but only reproduce as needed through cloning and test tubes?

You can see the issues involved in the cloning debate, which go much deeper than religion; the real debate has to do with evolutions process of a self-replicating organic machine, human beings, and the future of science and the species. Think about it.

House Speaker John BoehnerThe political battle over the Keystone XL pipeline, a $7 billion project to carry oil from Canada to Texas Gulf Coast refineries, is likely to heat up again in the next few weeks. And the focus will again be on the number of Keystone pipeline jobs created.

House Speaker John Boehner said Sunday congressional Republicans will make another push to win approval for the pipeline by including it in a new jobs bill. He restated his party's claim that tens of thousands of Keystone pipeline jobs are to be had as part of the project.

"Now that the president has decided for political reasons that we're not going to move ahead just yet, not until after the election ... we're going to have to find another way to lean on the Senate, to take this issue up, because the Keystone pipeline will create ... over 100,000 indirect jobs," Boehner said on ABC's This Week.

But how accurate are such claims? Will there really be more than 100,000 indirect Keystone pipeline jobs? Or are project supporters exaggerating?

1. Aid for Africa?
Why, after all these years, are so many countries in Africa still dependent upon Western aid? Has such aid truly helped the situation or encouraged them to let others do for them what they won't do for themselves? (As the saying goes, you can give a man a fish and he'll eat once or you can teach him how to fish and he'll eat plenty of times). Has such assistance truly served the long-term interests of Africa or merely the self-interests of burgeoning bureaucracies? Why does the white world of t…

I am a veteran and a patriot. Such a remark often makes a writer the target of ridicule or worse, but I refuse to withdraw it. It happens to be the plain, unvarnished truth. In September of 1972, on my own 18th birthday, I raised my right hand and swore solemnly to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic. I served my country faithfully and was discharged with honor. I am a veteran and a patriot. That has not changed – yet that very oath…

The TSA seems to have completely missed the ball at our airports. This is not to say that the Federal Government is completely and utterly incompetent, for that is a whole other debate possibly spanning a thousand agencies? Local Police Forces have consistently violated our right to free travel under the auspice of homeland security. Some conspiracy theorists claim the c…
