May I ask why in the world that General Motors is being attacked now in the middle of a major reorganization? Well, could it be that the Union having negotiated with the company to reduce health care benefits, which is bleeding the company dry, now wants to change their mind? Delphi just filed bankruptcy, Ford announces 250 plus million dollar losses in the third quarter and General Motors has considered dumping GMAC and all of this ought to be a sign to folks that in fact things are tough in the United States Automaker sector.

The Securities and Exchange Commission has upgraded its two investigations of GMs under funded pension accounting practices and its relationship with auto parts supplier Delphi Corp. I thought we had an ongoing saying in the automotive industry, “what is good for GM is good for America?” Well, what happened? It seems as if we have a huge fight going on and instead of working it out for all concerned, we now have damn regulators knocking on the door, further hurting shareholder’s value and scaring the industry?

It is obvious that the regulatory bodies in this country have only one objective in life and that is to destroy our economic engine and replace it with socialism. What makes the government think that jumping into the problem is going to help? They cannot do anything right, as all they are, is a giant inefficient bureaucracy of epic proportions. Since the SEC is now investigating GM, I believe we ought to up the predictions of a bankruptcy filing from 30% to 55%.

Wow, let us destroy even last industry that America has why don’t we? It seems the Feds are attacking retail, Airlines, Oil, housing, energy and transportation. Gee who is going to hold us up when Atlas shrugs? You know the funny part about all this is now that we have massive Federal Government Debt and these morons cannot keep spending, now we will have an economic downturn that the citizens with higher taxes will have dig the country out of. Why is it every time the government messes up we get the bill? Think on that?

Some are calling for the political ousting of the President when they recently learned in a University Geology class that Continental Drift and Plate Tectonics are the cause of Super volcanoes and Earthquakes as well as Super Plumes and Tsunamis. You see the Federal Government under the leadership of one George Walker Bush, has done nothing to stop the plate tectonics. In fact evidence shows that Continental Drift maybe the cause of much of our problems with the climate heating up.Further stud…

I moved back to Fort Wayne five years ago. I moved back to Fort Wayne to raise my family. I want to do my part to make America a better place for my children; I do not think anything is more important then that. I feel that America has made some very bad decisions in the last 84 years. In 1920 Franklin Roosevelt started 'The New Deal' and the government started growing. In 1920 total government spending was about 4% of the Gross Domestic Product. Today, total government spending is about 40% of …

3. Should Judgeships Be a Political Event? By Lance Winslow
Thought of the day; Questions about the judicial system. If the judgeships in our country are political positions based on the way they are chosen, either by election or by appointment and often debated by opposing politicians, then is there really a three branches of government? And if there is not three separate and unique branches then how can we base our trust in any of the other two branches. And is such an obvious question not adding to the mistrust already inherent in the dog eat dog wo…

4. Be An American
Be an American, it gets just a little bit annoying when the people that live in this country just can't seem to be real Americans, but yet they come from what ever country and expect to enjoy our freedoms, and our way of life, I think we need to put an end to this type of thing ever happening, it just stands to reason that if you want to be here and enjoy our country and it way of life, then the least you could do is respect it. I love the United States, and I love everything about it, I truly g…
