Who will be on the republican ticket next time around? Many are wondering who on Earth has a chance of winning against Hilary Clinton. Unfortunately for Hillary she is getting older in years and it may not be such a wise idea for her. Surely we will have a woman President in our future and that seems to bother few Americans, everyone accepts it and many feel it may in fact be better for getting along in the world. After Hurricane Katrina we have seen a melt down of local leadership in New Orleans, from the Mayor to the Governor and their ability to understand natural disasters and their role in government. We saw a problem with communication between the Federal Government and local government. Yet when we look at Florida and Governor Jeb Bush, we see a completely different picture. Jeb Bush has done a fine job protecting his state from disaster. He is well versed at protecting his state and the people of Florida. That is the kind of President we need. Meanwhile Dr. Condoleezza Rice has done a fabulous job proving critics wrong, she has the right stuff for a foreign policy of toughness, unity and empathy. No one will mistake our acts of kindness as a sign of weakness on her watch. I think the Republican Party ought to run them both and one may become the Presidential Candidate and the other the Vice President. Imagine a team like that leading the greatest nation ever created in the history of mankind? Imagine what such leadership can do for the world. Think on this. Yet we see in time period in Iraq that the civil war is reduced in duration. Generally civil wars do involve other nation states supporting one or the other. Ours surely did. Using Buttons and Badges Effectively in a Political Campaign By Allison Greg Political campaigns can be tense and stressful. There is so much to do and often not enough time to do it. If you are a candidate or campaign manager, you should not be without a button maker machine. Not only will buttons help acknowledge the issues and rally support, they will do it inexpensively and that is a word that any campaign manager likes… 3.
