If one rotten apple spoils the entire barrel, the barrel of rotten apples has become unified; all apples the same because there was no discrimination between the spoiled and the healthy when polarization first began. America will reach unity when no good apples remain, so let us vote for rotten leaders who hold before us the great promise of unity. Let us become vinegar to the world that we not be cast off as worthless. And why do the apple packers put good and rotten apples in the same barrel? Because they have been told all apples are equal and if they are not equal, they must be treated as though they are. That is their job. The whole idea of equality is a trap. Nobody buys every product in the supermarket to avoid discriminating between products, but that’s what we do with government policy, local, state and national. We may protest one or another, but in the end, we buy whatever they are selling and shrug it off. When you come right down to it, the only thing we are polarized about is the lesser evil. We accept evil as a given, then argue, debate and vote about degree. Do you know why? It is because smarter people than we want it that way. They write our laws, control our leaders, our finances, our educations and our tastes. They choose political candidates and finance their campaigns. There is no aspect of American life they do not influence or control to some degree. They are the reason America is completely worthy of the world’s contempt. It is not necessary we know their names or where they live. We can call them democracy and make everything OK. Abe Lincoln was probably not the first to say a house divided cannot stand but the saying is true enough. America was divided in its revolutionary beginning and has been all along. The most unification it has ever known has been to win and wage war. Now that we are war weary, or soon will be, we will fall into the abyss we have been teetering on more than two hundred years. It won’t be pretty and neither will it be prevented by some charismatic uniter. Polarity is good, though my bi -polar friends and those close to them might argue the point. It’s as natural as night and day. Beware the great uniters who, like Stalin and Hitler would merge day and night into endless skies of gray. Beware the war mongers who receive their orders from powers unelected. Beware the holy men deceiving in the name of God. Beware the ignorance that leads to destruction. Seek the saving light so skillfully concealed.

More Articles:1. National Security and the Press Part Three – The Role of Embedding By Teve Torbes A watchdog press, unfortunately, will often invite the government leash. To the extent that the press adopts an adversarial position vis-à-vis the government, it makes many government officials consider it a nuisance to their agenda. If unconstrained by the First Amendment and the courts, government officials have often turned to regulation of the media to prevent this “nuisance.” As Justice Douglas has noted, when the press does its job under the watchdog model, “the press is often engaged … 2. Narcissistic Leaders The narcissistic leader is the culmination and reification of his period, culture, and civilization. He is likely to rise to prominence in narcissistic societies. The malignant narcissist invents and then projects a false, fictitious, self for the world to fear, or to admire. He maintains a tenuous grasp on reality to start with and this is further exacerbated by the trappings of power. The narcissist's grandiose self-delusions and fantasies of omnipotence and omniscience are supported by real li… 3. Chinese Rhetoric Over Taiwan, Back At You By Lance Winslow It appears we are getting a little bit of Sun Tzu sword rattling as they set their sights on Taiwan. This is somewhat bothersome, as they have publicly stated that they would use nuclear weapons on the United States if we tried to interfere. Well, it seems that as if this is an International Terrorist threat by a nation state’s General and therefore, it must be recanted by him and we must ask China to remove him from power. If they fail to do so, we must act decisively and attack China now usi… 4. Sour Grapes Between: China, the US and EU By Dennis Siluk Much is being said about China nowadays, most of it not good. I was in China in l996, and the people were good to fair to shitty, to nice. So somewhat like a few other countries I know, but not as bad as France, and not as good as South American countries; so all-in-all, not bad. We have been trying hard to get China to join the world for a long time, a very long time, and we have; matter-of-fact, it was the United States who opened the doors for them into the WTO [World Trade Organization].… |
