Our give away programs for those who are unemployed, poor or disadvantaged have created a perpetual problem and vicious cycle of poverty. In our rush to give people money, we have made them weakened and taken away their will to fight, press on and achieve for themselves.

This can’t be right? Yes, this is true, but what do all those Christians say? Give a man a fish? Well they have been giving these folks fishes for years and making them weak. That is not capitalism it is not what our country is based on fore that is socialism; that is why they are weak. This is why the poor expected the government to come give them food and help them and why they felt it was their right to start looting and stealing only 24-hours after the flood. It is also why they did not evacuate.

In Houston some of the poor people did not evacuate and felt they could loot like they did in New Orleans, had they left they couldn't have looted or got free TVs? So this was their thinking, but why do they think like this? They believe they have the right to go get free stuff? But, wait a minute Society does not make thieves. Humans chose to steal right? Yes that is true although when you give away free stuff you also end up permanently changing one’s mindset you see? Come on they were stealing within two-days of the flood? They obviously did not take a CATEGORY V Hurricane seriously. You would think that any human that cannot go two-days without food, is too fat, dumb and happy to be worthy of the species, its completely BS to think they had to start that so soon.

Had we empowered those folks instead of allowing generations of welfare recipients, we would not have this problem and as we steer our civilization more towards socialism we will have more problems like this and indeed, we all made a choice to give fishes with our tax dollars, rather than empower people. It is exactly what we ordered isn't it? One could easily predict this. So again, do you understand why free markets and capitalism are the best choice for our civilization and how such an economic strategy will prevent this; Think on it.

Warren BuffettPresident Barack Obama used his 2012 State of the Union address to make a second appeal for Congress to pass a so-called Buffett Rule on wealthy Americans.  The idea is to raise taxes on anyone earning more than $1 million a year who pays a smaller portion of their earnings to the government than do middle-class workers.

"Right now, because of loopholes and shelters in the tax code, a quarter of all millionaires pay lower tax rates than millions of middle-class households. Right now, Warren Buffett pays a lower tax rate than his secretary," Obama told a joint session of Congress.

Specifically, the president is proposing to tax millionaires 30 percent of their earnings.

"Washington should stop subsidizing millionaires," Obama said. "In fact, if you're earning a million dollars a year, you shouldn't get special tax subsidies or deductions."

So how would the Buffett Rule really work? How many people would it affect?
