Can we free up some of the US Senators time? Can we keep them at home more in their own districts away from the sleaze and corruption, votes for sex, and massive onslaught of special interest lobbyists? It would be safer for our nation too, as having too many Senators in one place in such a high-risk city is not the smartest thing in the world. By sending the Senators back to their districts they will better serve their constituency and thus serve the people better. But how on Earth can we get this done? I propose using the latest Holographic Technologies, which are getting better and closer to becoming reality. I propose using HDHI, High Definition Holographic Imaging to put an image in each seat of the United States Senate without them actually being there. I propose placing a 12 inch high, 2-foot in diameter box in each seat of the United States Senate instead of the actual human man or woman. These boxes will project the image of the Senator from the base unit. With the next generation of HDHI Technologies the images will appear opaque rather than translucent. There will also be a centerline video camera on each row of the Senate to watch the events of the day. The Senators back in their home offices will need to sit in a large office surrounded by ten mirrors, which will display the US Senate interior of the building like a Virtual Reality Cave. There will be no excuse for them not being in their office for the vote or listening to the events of the day. Think on this as what we got now, well it just ain’t working. The decline is remarkable given it's an election year and his renewed call for passage of the controversial Buffett Rule, a new tax on millionaires. Fewer than 37.8 million Americans tuned into the prime-time address, which was broadcast on 14 networks, according to Nielsen, which provides detailed analysis of consumer viewing behavior and demographics. That's down 13 percent from his State of the Union address a year earlier. About 26.6 million households, or fewer than 1 in 4, watched Obama talk about the state of the nation. So how do Obama's State of the Union ratings stack up against former President George W. Bush's? Former President Bill Clinton's? Read more ... More Articles:1. America Needs Election Reform to Ensure Congressional Honesty By Bruce Schwartz America must implement a policy on Election Reform that is equitable and fair to everyone. It is something we must do if we are to be a progressive society, a society for everyone, rich or poor. We, the people of the United States of America, must take back control of our lives by taking back control of our government. And the only way we can do that - be a government by the people - is with a logical Election Reform Bill. It is past due because our elected officials are thinking only of their… 2. When Political Correctness in NOT a Virtue By Douglas Bower The other day I was sucker punched, hoodwinked, bamboozled, had the wool pulled over my eyes, and generally sidelined by an expert in Political Correctness. Why I Am A Communist By Andy Carloff RightsWhenever any moral, ethical, political, or even economic question comes up, there is often a question of rights involved. Whatever it comes down to, there is always the question of rights. In Capitalism, there is one distinguishing right: the right to private property. In this system, a perso… |
